Reviews of Products & Services
B. Smith- “I cannot thank you enough for the special gift you provided to me. I read just a little bit of your story last night, WOW! Just WOW! Incarceration is a definite factor in the divide between Black and Brown families. I can’t wait to read more, as I was raised by a single mother myself.” (review of “Layers of a Single Mother: My Past is not My Present”) V. Edmunds- “I was in the Inspire workshop. I really appreciate your inspiring message about helping the community and compassion…” (Review of the Centene mentorship workshop) Pushing Thru Inc- “We are very excited to have you as one of our Speakers for our Sharing Our Stories: You Are Enough Philly Event.” (Review of a poetry reading and testimonial for Pushing Thru Inc.) S. Yates- “Dear Ms. Vance, On behalf of the 9th-grade team at Martin Luther King High School, I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to pour into our students. Your authenticity, transparency, and ability to connect with young people truly made an impact. Students were engaged, inspired, and walked away with a stronger sense of self-belief and motivation to keep moving forward despite challenges.” (Review on youth workshops at MLK High School) R. Vargas- “I'm reaching out to ask if you have any 2026 plans to be out in CA and if you'd be interested in doing another different life skills workshop? Our clients loved your presentation!” (Program Manager at Family Foothill Shelter)
